Australia Photos – Sydney

I finally got around to sorting all of my photos. I had over 2000 photos and it was super hard to narrow it down to the amount I have here. I hope you enjoy these memories of mine.

This bird is called and Ibis.  It was walking around in Hyde park in the city.

Even though it’s the start of summer, these trees full of graffiti don’t have leaves on them because they are not native to Australia.

The Anzac Memorial – is the main commemorative military monument of Sydney.

The Entrance to Hyde Park & the beautiful art festival they had called “Art and About”

Inside St. Mary’s Cathedral – the beautiful stained glass windows and paintings.

Sydney Hospital – Rub the Boars nose for good luck

More birds that I don’t know the name of. They were everywhere, similar to our pigeons in quantity but closer to a sparrow in size.

Toronto needs to take some tips from Sydney on how to combine new architecture with the old.

Sydney Harbour

The view from the steps of the Opera House – looking back at the route I had walked. The Castle in the middle left behind the tall tree is the Royal Conservatory Of Music.

Surprisingly clean Sydney Opera house tiles.

Monorail turns to the right and goes into the building.

The subway trains.

The subway train layout is similar to our Go Trains.

The original Ferry Dock from before the Harbor Bridge was built.

The Historic Rocks with the financial part of the city in the background – Full of great shops and bars.

Kings Cross – Infamous Coca-Cola sign.
