Fall Colours

My favourite season is Fall. I’m inspired by the bright yellows, burnt orange and vibrant reds seen on bushes, weeds and trees this time of year. I love walking through piles of crunchy leaves after they’ve fallen from their summertime homes high up in the treetops. I also love pumpkins, apple pie, Halloween costumes and candy. I can’t wait to have some candy corn!

Sadly Fall is almost over. This week has been full of wind and rain and it’s left the trees pretty bare. I can smell the crisp cold of frost in the morning air, and I know it won’e belong before the first snowfall. Until then I’ll continue to enjoy every last drop of Fall I can get.

Over the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend I was in the Kawartha area in Ontario, and the Fall colours were at their prime. Here are some of the pictures I took along the road.

I hope you are enjoying the Fall colours where you are!
