A pop of colour in the winter

I love the winter! I love snowshoeing, snowboarding, watching snow fall and I love being the first person to walk through freshly fallen snow. While winter is fantastic outside, I often find January & February feel a bit dreary indoors. The issue is that all the beautifully coloured Christmas ornaments and decorations are put away and as a result our house just feels a bit neutral and bland.

My solution is to head to the local grocery store where I can pick up one bunch of flowers with bold colours for $9.99 or less (I love to get them when they are a few days old and on sale), to brighten up our space. I love to break up the bunch of flowers among a few different sizes of Mason jars and put them in the bathrooms and kitchen.
