Let’s Play Ball! [The Jays and Orioles all for free…]

Last night I had the priviledge of seeing the Toronto Blue Jays VS the Baltimore Orioles at the Skydome. (I refuse to call it the Rogers Centre).

In general I have found baseball games to be quite boring when watching them in person. But I think it’s because the two previous times that I had been to a baseball game at the Skydome I had cheap seats way up in the nosebleed section. Last night was different because we had seats in the 128 section, the blue section, you know the section closest to the field just past 3rd base. Sitting that close really changed the game for me as a sectator. I actually had to pay attention because if I didn’t then I was in fear that I would be nailed in the head with a baseball. When you sit in the nosebleads you don’t ever have to worry about a ball coming up that high, so it’s very easy to loose interest in the game. 500 section seats do make the baseball players resemble lazy ants who are just standing around while the pitcher ant throws a few balls and the batter ant walks off the field.

It was fun. The Jays won 7 to 3. Thanks to Crys for the tickets!
