Road trip to Hervey Bay

Hervey Bay (sounds like Harvey Bay) is a four hour drive north of Brisbane.  We drove up in Chantelle & Reids new car.  We stopped at this place along the highway that makes awesome milkshakes.  I had a vanilla one which was super tastey.

We arrived in Hervey Bay to our hotel/snazzy apartment.  It’s called Eden by The Bay.  It’s a two bed/two bath with a kitchen, dining room and pool.  It is a really nice place and it’s very new.  It’s just across the street from the beach.  We walked down the beach for two hours.  It was a nice beach with great firm sand for walking on.  I took lots of photos.  we walked back to where we originaly entered the beach from our hotel area and sat and watched the sunset.  Then we got some beers and some bland tasting chinese food and played the card game Rummy at our hotel for the rest of the night.
